Welcome

I'm Rosanna.

My goal in therapy is to help you reconnect with your deepest self and find your centre again so you can feel that you're living an authentic life.

In our work together we learn to listen to our innermost selves. We trust that we have everything we need within us. We practice grace and gentleness with ourselves and give ourselves the gift of unconditional acceptance. As you become more attuned to your deeper self your clarity, peace, and purpose will become stronger.

My Practice

I am happy to work with most general counselling topics, and invite you to get in touch even if your concerns fall outside my listed areas of interest.

 

I offer online therapy through a secure telehealth platform, and walk-and-talk session in public greenspaces on Brisbane's Northside. I also occasionally offer workshops; please join my mailing list if you'd like to hear about these. I can work with clients from anywhere in the world (except Canada and the USA); I am flexible about working with timezone differences, but can only conduct sessions in English language.

Therapy is a safe space. I work with all genders and identities without judgement. I take an affirming approach to neurodiversity, whether you are diagnosed, self-identified, or undiagnosed. My practice is not faith based, and I am not involved in any religious group.

Neurodiversity Support Therapy

Neurodiverse minds need a different approach in therapy. There are alternative strategies that can help support you through the diagnostic process, dealing with an unexpected diagnosis, or seeking strategies for living with your own or someone else's neurodivergence.

Religious Trauma

Religious trauma isn't only the major hurts we see splashed across headlines; it can also be from Purity Culture, growing up as a Missionary or Pastor's Kid, Lifestyle Religion, Religious Marriage and Parenting, Financial Abuse, and Medical Control. These things can have a lingering effect on your sense of self and how you engage with others and the world.

There are so many reasons to come to therapy; maybe you want an occasional tune up to keep yourself functioning well, perhaps there's a particular issue you want to address, or maybe you're looking for a deeper understanding of yourself. Whatever your goal, we can work together to bring you closer to a richer, deeper, stronger version of you.

Guided Meditation

Create your own Inner Sanctuary that you can visit any time for calm, serenity, and reconnecting with your deeper self.

Meditation and visualisation are powerful tools we can draw on to help us manage our thoughts and emotions. In this session we will construct in our minds a world of our own that we can use as a safe place we can visit any time. We will use a custom card deck to set the scene with natural realms and landscapes, waypoints, and sanctuaries that will help us visualise our world in detail.
