About me
I am an MK (missionary kid; yes, we lived in Africa, and everything!) who found that as I became an adult those beliefs no longer resonated with me or aligned with who I felt I was. Going through the process of leaving the church, deconstructing my faith, and rebuilding a sense of self was a lonely and difficult road; there were few resources available, and little in the way of focused support. This is what I would like to offer you now:
-
support as you consider, choose, and move towards a more authentic way of being you, without judgement, without ulterior motive, without pressure;
-
freedom to explore and a safe place to say the un-sayable;
-
a forum to explore spirituality in a way that feels safe and authentic to you.

I am also self-identified as ADHD, and have neurodivergent family members. I get how it is to live with a brain that does not always want to co-operate. Many ND folk find that strategies offered in therapy that work for NT folk do not work for them, or are actually counterproductive: there are alternative ways to support ourselves that may fit you better. I offer you validation, support, strategy, and encouragement as a therapist who also has to wade through the weeds myself, as a wife, and as a parent.
